Cultural history tour with project manager Christian Schmidt - Exhibitions on the history of Broock in the castle
Enjoy an autumnal excursion to the beautiful Tollensetal valley and visit the largest manor house project currently underway in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Project manager Christian Schmidt will take you on a journey into the rich past of what was once the largest private stud farm in Western Pomerania. Immerse yourself in the eventful history of Broock and find out what the future of the castle estate will look like.
As we can only guide a limited number of groups around the building site, registration is essential: by e-mail at info@schlossgut-broock.de or by telephone on 039993 766678.
Participation fee for the guided tour and visit to the exhibitions:
- Adults: 6.00 euros
- Reduced fee: 4,00 Euro
- Children and young people: 0.00 Euro
The meeting point for the guided tours is the castle's garden hall. Access is via the terrace on the park side. Parking is available in the courtyard. Please note that access to the castle and the interior is not accessible.
Afterwards, you can visit the exhibitions "Broock Castle - Lords and People", "Garden Culture in Broock" and "Broock Findings" in the garden enfilade of the south wing or the art exhibition in the north wing of the castle. A walking route through our Lenné Park to historical stations with informative display boards is also worthwhile.
Round off your trip to Broock with a visit to our village store and café on the edge of the estate, in the former kitchen garden - where home-baked cakes, coffee specialties and hearty meals await you.
