Workshop with Sonja Suntrup as part of the exhibition "Women in Divided Germany"
Even today, 36 years after the Peaceful Revolution, the personal place of residence in East and/or West still has an identity-forming effect. In private and public debates, differences in character, mentality and communication often come to light. They can be enriching, but sometimes also lead to misunderstandings.
The writing workshop provides effective approaches to autobiographical writing in order to capture these experiences and transform them into stories. The aim is to discover what divides and unites us, but also to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the influence of others.
All women who would like to explore their own biography and the stories of the other participants are invited. No previous knowledge is necessary.
The offer is planned for eight participants.
