The walking tour "In the footsteps of important women" invites you to get to know Göhren from a special perspective. The focus is on the historical traces and life stories of Ruth Bahls and Adeline von Schimmelmann, two women who shaped the town in different ways.
Starting from the local history museum, the tour leads to selected locations such as the Villa Rheingold, the museum courtyard, the courtyard, the salt path and the fisherman's beach. Historical backgrounds and contexts are vividly conveyed at these locations.
