"Zwangsvorstellung" freely adapted from Lisl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin

The acting duo Kristin Giertler and Thomas Kornmann present a play freely adapted from Lisl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin under the title "Zwangsvorstellung". The production by Alberto Fortuzzi (set design: Gesine Findler) is dedicated to Karl Valentin's well-known humor, which often reaches the absurd. The well-rehearsed Karlstadt/Valentin couple try to overcome the hurdles of everyday life, but in the process the bizarre, tragicomic characters repeatedly get caught up in their own mental pitfalls - which is what makes them so human and endearing.

We look forward to typical Valentinian everyday poetry with twisted logic and word twists on a hopefully beautiful summer evening in our courtyard garden.
