Darßer NaturfilmFestival 2025: Program section "Kakadu"
The city is a living organism. Healthy and in perfect balance, it can make its inhabitants happy, people as well as animals and plants. If it gets out of balance, it becomes ill and with it all the creatures that live in it. For animals, it is a valuable habitat. But cities are under pressure. In this documentary, Sielmann Award winner Heiko De Groot shows the consequences of urbanization for biodiversity and human health.
