Darßer NaturfilmFestival 2025: Program section "Citizens of the Sea"
For 12-year-old Antonia, diving is like flying. The underwater world is the most beautiful thing for her, because there are unexplored places that Antonia really wants to explore. Like the hundreds of wrecks that lie on the seabed in the Baltic Sea around the island of Rügen. During the summer vacation, Antonia helps her father, an underwater archaeologist, to search for the ship's shell. Time is running out as the shell eats away at the wood of the wreck, destroying it forever.
