Darßer NaturfilmFestival 2025: Program section "Competition"
Europe is a continent of diversity and its coasts are no exception. The film, masterfully narrated by Benno Fürmann, reveals how the inhabitants of Europe's coasts have adapted to the extreme conditions of their diverse habitat. From the frozen Arctic Ocean, where polar bears and reindeer fight for survival, to the warm beaches of the Mediterranean, home to flamingos and colorful corals, Europe's dynamic coasts are home to some of the continent's most spectacular natural phenomena. In Norway's fjords, orcas and humpback whales hunt side by side, while on the coast of Ireland, ocean life shines in a magical light.
