A play with three fantastic stage sets and a shadow play. It is an exciting, fairytale-like production that tells of the different in everyone.
The production is performed by Claudia de Boer from the Blauer Mond puppet theater. The performance starts at 2.30 pm at Slüterplatz 6 near St. John's Church in Dömitz. As part of the Dömitz Christmas market, admission is free of charge.
He is called "Flontsch", the little boy who looks different. He is not trusted to do anything good and the children in the village are not allowed to play with him. So Flontsch looks for friends among the animals. He realizes that he can talk to the animals.
When Flontsch runs away from home after a quarrel between his parents, he meets a deer by a stream. The deer tells him about the king's favorite horse, which is sick. The Flontsch hides his face and goes to the royal court ....
Will he be able to cure the horse? And will he succeed in retrieving the queen's mysterious mirror, which only shows the inside of the beholder, from the claws of an eagle?
How do his parents and the people in the village react when the Flontsch returns home laden with fame and gold? And why do they see him differently from now on?
