Flamenco - powerful dancing, passionate singing and delicate guitar playing. More than almost any other art form, flamenco stands for emotion, rhythm and the fusion of tradition and modernity.
The dancer La Mona lives in Berlin and is the founder of the well-known flamenco group "azabache Flamenco". She also leads a flamenco choir and teaches flamenco dance at home and abroad.
The dancer Migiwa Shimizu runs the flamenco school "El Patio" in Dresden and Leipzig. Together with singer María Prenda and guitarist Josel Ratsch, they are known for their many performances.
The four artists invite the audience to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of flamenco with them, to marvel at the dance and listen to the wonderful music.
