Observe and get to know sea turtles during the summer vacations: Visitors to the MEERESMUSEUM can meet these reptiles in the exhibitions and aquariums
The ancestors of today's sea turtles moved from land to sea around 110 million years ago.
The tour illustrates how the reptiles have adapted to life under water over the course of evolution.
In the exhibitions at the MEERESMUSEUM, participants will encounter, among other things, a specimen of the leatherback sea turtle "Marlene".
The highlight of the tour is the aquarium tour, where museum visitors can meet the giant sea turtles and observe the armored giants up close.
