On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Kreisjugendring Nordwestmecklenburg e.V. and the city of Grevesmühlen cordially invite you to the big family festival on the occasion of World Children's Day.
Under the motto "Children's rights - building blocks for democracy!", the grounds at Ploggensee in Grevesmühlen will be transformed into a colorful place for encounters, games and information from 10 am to 4 pm.
The festival in Grevesmühlen picks up on this message and brings it to life on site. Visitors can expect a varied program:
Games and creative activities for children and young people
Music, hands-on activities and sports
Information stands and workshops on children's rights
Discussion and meeting opportunities for families
Culinary delights at family-friendly prices
"Children have a right to protection, support and participation - we want to make this visible with this festival and celebrate it together," emphasizes Kreisjugendring NWM e.V.
The family festival is funded as part of the federal "Live Democracy!" program and implemented together with numerous clubs, associations, institutions and volunteers from the region.
Admission is free. All children, parents, families and interested parties are cordially invited.
