The Mecklenburg Künstlerhaus Schloss Plüschow is located far away from the big cities of the art world. Many of the temporary guests come from an urban environment in the world's major cities. During their three-month stay, they have the opportunity to work undisturbed on their artistic ideas, to engage with the history and architecture of the listed building or to be inspired by the surrounding nature. The exchange between the artists is just as valuable as the exchange with interested members of the public, who come to the Open Studios Day in large numbers. The artworks that are created are characterized by the intensity of the authentic experience and bear witness to artistic processes that have taken place on site.
