The exhibition "Inventory: personal" presents the many facets of printmaking - in the field of tension between figure and expression.
The exhibition "Inventory: personal" presents the multifaceted nature of printmaking - in the field of tension between figure and expression.
The focus is on people: their shape, their presence, their inner and outer movements. The participating artists use the diverse possibilities of graphic techniques to make individual perspectives on the human visible - as observation, reflection or projection. From the study to the abstract form, from the intimate portrait to the social staging, the works show how lively and multi-layered figurative graphics can be today. Among others with: Angela Hampel, Ute Laux, Lothar Seruset, Emma Gunnarsson.
The exhibition was compiled by Tina Flau from the collection of the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop.
