Selected works of the print festival Feste Drucken of SPEICHER_Leute e.V. from 26.8.-2.9.2025 in Vitte/Hiddensee on Art Today
This year's FESTE-DRUCKEN printing festival organized by SPEICHER_Leute e.V. took place from 26.8.-2.9 in Vitte on Hiddensee. Printers in the broadest sense spent a week on the narrow island. The experimental cross-pollination also tested techniques in which materials from the island were used and ideas from the accompanying program were incorporated: printing with found objects, rubbing pigments from shells or immortalizing wind fugitives. The performance "Der kollektive Druckkörper" literally moved through the town to the beach at a slow printing pace. An exhibition of selected works will open on the 2nd floor of the Speicher for KUNST HEUTE. It will hang until the end of October.
