Exhibition opening at the Schwaan Art Museum

Exhibition from 08.11.2025 - 18.01.2026 Anneliese Schöfbeck is one of Mecklenburg's most important artistic personalities. With this exhibition, we are presenting the work of an artist who has dedicated 50 years of her artistic career to the landscape of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, its historic towns and its immediate surroundings. "Her pictorial language, trained in classical modernism, visualizes her personal experience of the world again and again, honestly, emotionally and powerfully" (K. Arrieta). Born in Vogtland in 1936, the artist has lived and worked in Hohen Viecheln since 1974.
