Exhibition
Starting January 26, the Neubrandenburg Regional Library will host a special exhibition of lapbooks from the St. Marien Protestant School in Neubrandenburg.
So that remembrance does not fall silent.
In November, 11th and 12th grade students from St. Marien Protestant School in Neubrandenburg went on an excursion to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial - a place that stands for millions of cases of suffering, injustice and the loss of humanity. In personal lapbooks, they dealt with exclusion, persecution, the system of extermination camps, liberation and coming to terms with the past. To mark the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust on January 27, some of the works will be exhibited from January 26 to 31 in the display cases in the periodicals section of the regional library .
