Europe between security and responsibility: the Gaza conflict

The Gaza conflict is more than a regional crisis - it poses political, historical and moral questions for Europe. The EU is simultaneously a security policy actor, a humanitarian donor and a partner with a particular historical responsibility.

In the plenary discussion, experts will shed light on how Europe's historical responsibility, domestic political differences and humanitarian tasks shape its relationship with Israel and Palestine. They will also discuss the social impact, security policy and the role of the EU as a community of values.

The event will take place at Haus Europa. Please register in advance by telephone or via our website. The event can only take place with a minimum of seven participants.
