"The last things" A reading about life, loss and hope with moving texts and live music. Christiane Wilkening and Wolfgang Poppelmann read accompanied by cellist Susanne Stanicki.
"THE LAST THINGS"
Christiane Wilkening tells in clear language about death, loss and grief in the family. Her last story is about trusting the flow of life in the face of one's own finiteness. Wolfgang Poppelbaum recalls the passing of his parents and the death of a young woman - condensed with words from Büchner's "Leonce and Lena". He also mischievously recalls the visit of a commissioner to a diva who sings Mahler. In any case, the music will survive. Dresden cellist Susanne Stanicki will provide the musical framework with works by Bach, Schubert, Mahler and others.
