We cordially invite you to St. Thomas Church on Open Monument Day. We start at 2 pm with a prayer followed by a cozy exchange over coffee and cake. You can also discover our accompanying exhibition, which presents the treasures of St.Thomas Church - in keeping with the motto of this year's Open Monument Day®: "Valuable-full: Priceless or irreplaceable?" Afterwards (3.30 pm), a special musical experience awaits you: the duo Dulcitara - Christine Lugmair (dulcimer), Martin Keuchel (guitar) and Ulrike Hödel (bass).
Experience the fascinating sound world of the dulcimer - a stringed instrument originally from Persia - in combination with the guitar. The unusual combination of these two instruments creates a very special atmosphere that invites concentrated listening. With their finely crafted arrangements of classical music, Irish folk and their own compositions, Christine Lugmair and Martin Keuchel tell musical stories of love, life - and of us.
