Meditative-contemplative impressions and sounds at St. Peter's Church in Rostock
"The inner world of the outer world " is an invitation to experience the world not only through the mind, but also through the body. A journey that redefines space, time and one's own experience.
In her exhibition "Disegno Interno - Die Innenwelt der Außenwelt", artist Angela Preusz-Löschenkohl devotes herself to a radically sensual exploration of nature, perception and reality. The focus is on analog processes of sensing, hearing and feeling - beyond intellectual control or digital imagery. By means of performative actions in nature - such as wrapping paper or canvas around trees - so-called TRANSmarginal scenes are created: places where boundaries shift. Between human and environment, self and world, chaos and order. The term refers to experiences beyond the sayable - to that which cannot be thought, but only experienced.
The exhibition is accompanied by haptic exhibits, GPS coordinates and notations that document the sensory contact with nature.
A special focus is placed on accessibility and inclusion:
All visitors are invited to experience the exhibition not only with their eyes, but also with their hands.
"Disegno Interno" is an artistic attempt to listen to nature - and to make the boundary between outside and inside permeable.
Opening performance:
Contemplative sounds open the art exhibition with a sensual experience in which perception and reality merge in a new way. The renowned musician Theo Jörgensmann will create a meditative sound journey with his alto clarinet, played in the sound language of modern free jazz - an immediate meditative-contemplative way of hearing and feeling can be experienced.
