Vacation program in the city library for primary school children
During the autumn vacations, the city library will become a place of learning and adventure for children: an exciting vacation program for primary school children will take place from 20 to 24 October 2025. On four mornings from 10:00 to 12:00, there will be free hands-on activities on the topics of programming, discovering nature, trying out technology and developing creativity.

Programming with Scratch Junior
Children between the ages of 8 and 12 learn about the world of coding in a fun way. With the Scratch Junior app, they create their own little stories and animations - ideal for their first steps in programming.

? Tuesday (October 21)
On the trail of the forest - with foresters and forest managers
A forester and a forest manager provide insights into their exciting everyday work. At interactive stations, children discover the forest habitat through experiments, puzzles and vivid explanations. Nature you can touch!

? Thursday & Friday (October 23 & 24)
Tinkering, coding, being creative - experience technology in the library
Now it's time to build, construct and design! With robots, kits and much more, children can implement their own small projects - from programming to designing buttons. Creativity and technology go hand in hand here.
