A late-night store in Dresden "An evening full of bite and wit, with bileful texts, black punchlines and nonsense sketches with a double bottom. The play reflects the rift that divides society, without simple black and white clichés" (sächsische Zeitung)

Three natives of Herta's Drinks Oasis look out onto the street and wonder: because outside on the street it's demonstration day. Self-proclaimed saviors of the West are accompanied by four counter-demos, climate activists march against climate deniers, anti-vaccination activists demand the return of the empire (but without compulsory vaccination), gender opponents clash with gender supporters, Attila Hildmann cooks up a delicious meal.Attila Hildmann not only boils with rage, but also vegan pasta, a tractor convoy honks its horn against pesticide bans, police officers hold their ground and an outside reporter from Pieschen-TV loses track. But whether it's chemtrail warnings, people wearing aluminum hats or state security agents: they're all thirsty! And so the Späti becomes a secondary theater of war - saving the world between canned beer and bockwurst. Following the acclaimed program HÜTTENKÄSE, IM KÜHLSCHRANK BRENNT NOCH LICHT is the next cabaret piece from the pen of Philipp Schaller and Michael Frowin, who also directs.
