Built at the end of the 13th century as a brewery with granary and monastery mill, in intensive commercial use as a brewery, distillery and dairy until the fire in 1979, renovation of the medieval moat and installation of a new waterwheel in 2015. 2016 Commissioning of the foam mill with small power generation. The mill is located in the former farm building of the Doberan monastery; the restoration of this nationally significant monument by the town of Bad Doberan is currently underway.
