A special highlight at the end of the season is the resting of the cranes. Every year in the fall, around 70 thousand cranes visit our region.
The cranes (also known as birds of happiness) are here in search of food, with crop residues and new seeds forming the main part of their diet. When they set off at dusk to find their night roost, you can be there LIVE on board the ship "MS Baltic resort Wustrow". Three times a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - the Kruse & Voss passenger ship departs from Fischländer Hafen in Wustrow for crane-watching trips.
No advance reservations, tickets are available on board.
