The fascination of nature on the big screen: exclusive film screening and expert talk with nature conservation pioneers Succow and Knapp
A special highlight for all nature and film lovers is coming up:
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the National Natural Landscapes Foundation invites you to the Cliff Hotel Rügen in Sellin for the exclusive first public screening of the new documentary film "WIE GEHT NATUR?!" after its Berlin premiere.
The fascinating film sheds light on the extraordinary life story of the renowned nature conservation pioneers Prof. Dr. Michael Succow (winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize) and Prof. Dr. Hannes Knapp. The documentary pays tribute to their tireless commitment and introduces visionaries who have inspired and continue to inspire them for nature conservation.
We start the evening with a short talk. First, we will talk to Anika Rennspieß from the German Nature Film Foundation. She will give us an exciting insight into the impressive diversity of the German nature film industry. Afterwards we will talk to the two protagonists Prof. Dr. Michael Succow and Prof. Dr. Hannes Knapp.
