The mondëna quartet unites opposites into a new whole. The four artists from Leipzig are versatile and versatile between various musical genres, including inspirations from neoclassical, folk, pop and film music.
In their current concert program, the string quartet presents an exciting selection of their own compositions: In addition to pieces from their debut album "Circles", which was nominated in four categories for the Opus Klassik 2023, they will perform works from their brand new album, which was recorded in the middle of a dreamlike landscape in Ireland. With dreamy, spherical soundscapes, gripping virtuosity and intense, emotional moments, the musicians build a bridge between classical and modern music. Melancholy meets powerful passion, tenderness meets wild energy - a concert evening that celebrates the versatility of music in all its facets. The program is rounded off by atmospheric works by composers Sven Helbig and Felix Rösch, which were premiered and recorded by the mondëna quartet.
