Treat yourself to a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas and spend precious time with the people you care about. On our alpaca hike, you will experience the quiet magic of the wintry forests and the peaceful closeness of our loving alpacas. At a leisurely pace, the trail leads you through the nature around our farm and after the hike, a crackling campfire with delicious stick bread and hot punch awaits you.
Before your alpaca hike begins, you will learn exciting facts about the origin, husbandry and special nature of our alpacas. In a short briefing, we will explain how to handle the animals safely and give you valuable tips for your time together in nature.
Afterwards, you will get to know our fluffy hiking companions personally. Each alpaca has its own character and name - and often your future hiking partner even chooses their own human!
As soon as all the pairs have been found, your unforgettable experience begins. On the tour, you will have plenty of opportunity to get to know your partner alpaca better and feel the calm energy of these special animals. Many guests say that they also learn something about themselves in the process, as alpacas are attentive, sensitive and react sensitively to the mood of their companions.
What you should know for your alpaca hike:
- Wear sturdy, weatherproof shoes and warm clothing - we hike in all weathers, even in rain or snow.
- The route is not suitable for baby carriages (sandy forest paths). However, babies and toddlers can be carried in a back carrier.
- Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on this hike.
- Children of all ages are welcome. Please decide for yourself whether your child can manage a two-hour hike at the pace of the group. Parents are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children - both on the farm and during the entire event.
