With 44 breeding pairs, the Island of Rügen is one of the largest breeding areas for white-tailed eagles in Germany. On my tour, you can observe the majestic birds in their natural habitat and, with luck, photograph them. Be enchanted by the breathtaking scenery.
On my popular white-tailed eagle tour, we go on a journey to an enchanted place that offers the best conditions as a habitat for the white-tailed eagle like no other. Calm waters, no human disturbance and a forest for the mighty eyrie are essential for the white-tailed eagle's survival.
Seeing the white-tailed eagle with a wingspan of up to 2.6 meters circling above us like a board amazes many people. It is not uncommon for two or more white-tailed eagles to circle in the air at the same time and watch our every move as we behave in their territory.
It is interesting to see how the white-tailed eagle flushes out countless ducks and geese.
Depending on the time of year, other animals can also be observed by us: Ospreys, roe deer, fallow deer, great egrets, red-backed shrikes, cranes, great grey shrikes, lapwings, various duck species, marsh harriers, bluethroats, bearded tits and many other species.
Important: Experience the sea eagles from a safe distance - with a flight distance of 200 to 300 meters we protect their peace and quiet and we can observe the sea eagles without disturbing them.
