Music that does good - and warms the heart - benefit concert with the M-V State Police Orchestra at Volkshaus Friedland
On Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 3:00 pm, the Friedland Fire Brigade Promotion Association, in cooperation with the town of Friedland, invites you to a very special musical experience in the Volkshaus Friedland: The Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Police Orchestra will be making a guest appearance with a festive charity concert that will touch hearts and ears alike.
This year, a special Christmas story awaits visitors: with a lovingly staged program, the orchestra takes young and old on a musical journey - accompanied by two charming characters whose story is loosely based on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Between funny scenes and touching moments, well-known melodies such as "Santa Baby", "It Feels Like Christmas", "Sleigh Ride" and music from The Nightmare Before Christmas can be heard.
Conducted by Cornelius During-Schwarzmaier, with vocals by Katrin Lièvre, the orchestra masterfully combines musical skill with Christmas magic.
And best of all: the entrance fee of €18.00 goes to a charitable cause. This makes the afternoon not only a festive highlight, but also a matter close to the heart.
Tickets are available from Friedland Town Hall (ticket office) and the town museum.
Whether as a gift, a family outing or a festive end to November - this concert promises music, community and the real magic of Christmas. The Fire Brigade Promotion Association Friedland e.V., the town of Friedland and the M-V State Police Orchestra are looking forward to a full Volkshaus and smiling faces.
