Vernissage - Being forgetful. Living with dementia

A photo interview project by Raymond Jarchow and Claudia Lohse-Jarchow

Dementia has many faces. Every person affected by this disease has a unique life story, personality and experience. But families and friends are also affected. This disease changes the everyday lives of all these people, as well as their wishes, dreams and life plans.
With our project, we want to help paint an understanding and multi-layered picture of dementia.

Raymond Jarchow was responsible for the concept, interviews and portraits. Claudia Lohse-Jarchow was responsible for editing the interviews.
The Greifswald "Dementia & Culture" network provided professional support for the project from the initial idea to the exhibition.
