A vacation camp for young people aged 13 and over with Tobias Reußwig and Hannah Brunnbauer
What do an AI-generated essay, a supermarket slogan and a story about life on distant planets have in common? Correct, their connection to the truth is highly dubious. Nevertheless, the lies that are told are very different: AIs simply don't know anything about reality, advertising is intended to convince readers of a product and stories. It is interesting to note that only the authors of the stories outright admit that they are not telling the truth. Why is that?
In a four-day camp during the autumn vacations 2025 in Ribnitz-Damgarten, we want to deal with the importance of truthfulness, how to write convincing and beautiful stories and how to recognize untruths in critical contexts.

Tobias Reußwig is an author, literary translator and mediator. He was awarded the MV Literature Prize in 2020 for his poetry cycle "der Körper lügt". His translation of Joey Comeau's Malagash was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2022.

Hannah Brunnbauer is a storyteller. As a freelance copywriter for companies and schools, she draws on her broad knowledge in the fields of education, culinary arts and social media, and designs and manages digital advertising campaigns.
