The Uckermärkische Folkorchester has been playing for dancing since 2008: European couple, circle and street dances in the tradition of balfolk. Rousing dance music, twelve musicians - this promises to be a cheerful get-together in any case. The folk orchestra plays regularly in the Uckermark and at the Uckermark Dance and Folk Festival, and occasionally performs in Berlin.
UFO launched the Uckermark Dance and Folk Festival UMTANZT to make the tradition of BalFolk even better known in the Uckermark.
