Time has never been as big as it is today

A literary-musical evening

Johannes Kirchberg sings and speaks Erich Kästner "So groß wie heute war die Zeit noch nie" an Erich Kästner program for the current CD - If you are looking for one of the best Kästner interpreters, you will end up with Kirchberg. Hardly anyone is able to set texts to music and interpret them as well as he does. After four different Erich Kästner programs, Kirchberg presented his favourite author with a new CD for his 125th birthday.

A listening museum with 15 songs and 9 texts and 2 poems. New songs, chansons recorded for the first time and also very old songs can be heard on "So groß wie heute war die Zeit noch nie". Settings that are still touching and serve the words of Kästner. And texts that fit the times, and which are unfortunately once again or still relevant. Words that touch and move us. As if they were written only the day before yesterday. In his homage to Erich Kästner, Johannes Kirchberg makes a deep bow to the poet. Johannes Kirchberg presents this new CD in the program "So groß wie heute war die Zeit noch nie" with great acting persuasiveness and musicality.

Perhaps this evening is a reason to reach for a Kästner on your own bookshelf. It's worth it!
