Good Morning World is the name of Herbert W.H. Hundrich's art project. The exhibition runs from 19.07.-31.10.2025 The exhibition can be visited Tue-Fri from 10 am to 5 pm and on weekends and public holidays from 11 am to 5 pm.
The idea behind Herbert Hundrich's "Good morning world" art project is to rediscover the world every day and draw hope from it. "This is the world I live in. This is the world I am in. Although it has often accompanied me, I have often not seen it," says Hundrich, summarizing his initial thoughts on the project idea. "On the morning of January 1, 2024, I stood on a large hill and looked down into a small valley, a steaming cup of coffee in my hand, light morning mist, the sun was rising... Good morning, I thought, seconds later: good morning world", he describes the beginning of his project.
Herbert Hundrich then invited artists - from Hong Kong to the west of the USA, from the south of Africa to the far north - to to share this very moment with him and send a piece of paper, a word, a thought, a photo, a drawing, a picture, a movement, a melody, a film and asked the artists to imagine that they were saying "Good morning" to the world. The result was a collective and global snapshot with photographs from almost every continent in the world.
