The Aqua Sonata - Water Festival celebrates its premiere and invites you to the enchanting castle garden of Vietgest Castle. Festival Aqua Sonata - a symphony of water, light & music in the castle park - presented by Güstrow Schloßquell.
The open-air festival takes place for the first time at Vietgest Castle at the beginning of September. Guests can expect a symphony of water fountains, light shows and music at the "Aqua Sonata". The castle pond in the park is the heart of the festival: impressive water fountains shoot up from it, which are enlivened with light shows and merge with the voice of the enchanting soprano Stella Motina to form a harmonious symphony.
Stella Motina, born in the Ukraine, studied singing in Moscow and Hanover; she can be seen in numerous roles at renowned opera houses and theaters as well as music festivals throughout Europe and Russia. For the "Aqua Sonata" festival, she presents arias and songs on the theme of water and summer - Russalka, Summertime, La Habanera... great music, rhythmic sounds, and the fountains dance to the rhythm of the music and the play of light illuminates the evening. This midsummer night's dream allows for a relaxed stroll in the park. Guests enjoy the musical highlights as they stroll from terrace to pavilion, from a bench to one of the drinks and snack stations and let themselves be enchanted by the unique atmosphere.
