Winter on Solupp is wonderful, Ema thinks: the wildly foaming sea, the starry hours of darkness and the promise of snow in the air. But the mystery of her origins simply won't let her go. It's just as well that Ema's friend Mari and her siblings return to Solupp. Together with Joon, Mari, Kurt and Bela do everything they can to help Ema in her search for clues. In the process, they delve even deeper into the island's secrets.
