History, stories and potato printing
Here you can find out why Mecklenburg is considered potato country. A number of tools from the households of Teterow's farmers bear witness to the planting, care, harvesting and preservation of potatoes. You will get to know the potato hoe, the potato sack, the potato ladle and the potato fork. Typical kitchen utensils such as the Flotte Lotte, the potato masher and the potato grater belonged in every household. You can then use these tools to prepare mashed potatoes. Other potato products are also available. Finally, you will design a bag with potato printing.
