SHAUN THE SHEEP - THE MOVIE: UFO ALARM is the latest movie adventure about the cheeky little sheep Shaun, who one day meets a little alien girl and now has to help her find her way back home.
It's so boring at Mossy Bottom Farm. Always standing in the pasture, always doing what Bitzer the dog wants. And the farmer himself is always dreaming of a new combine harvester anyway. So Shaun thinks up fun games for himself and the herd. Which are immediately banned by Bitzer. One day, however, Shaun has a wild adventure that Bitzer cannot prevent: Because Shaun meets an alien called Lu-La in his barn. Lu-La has crashed with her spaceship and must now somehow get back to her home planet. Easier said than done. Because the Ministry for Extraterrestrial Activities has already got wind of Lu-La's crash and is hot on the little girl's heels. But Shaun wouldn't be Shaun the sheep if he didn't soon come up with something really clever.
Just like the first feature film about the cheeky little sheep, SHAUN THE SHEEP - THE FILM: UFO ALARM is once again a convincing, imaginative animated adventure. The pace is fast, with a mixture of slapstick and chases. And yet the film never manages to be too overloaded or too loud. The second feature film also manages completely without dialog, which makes the film work for even the youngest cinema fans.
