Christmas carols resound in the glow of lights in Buchholz village church
On 29.11.2025 at 17:00 we look forward to Christmas carols in the Buchholz village church. The Fahrenholz choir will once again delight us this year with well-known Christmas songs from all over the world. Perhaps one or the other folk song will remind you of your own childhood, when we stood in front of the glittering Christmas tree with amazed eyes. The Fahrenholz choir was founded in Fahrenholz in 2000. In the beginning, the choir rehearsed diligently in a small pub with the founder and choirmaster Wolfgang Sprotte. When he retired for health reasons, students from the Rostock University of Music and Drama took over the direction. In the beginning, there were only singers from Fahrenholz, but now there are members from several communities who come together to sing in Stäbelow.
