From land to sea: Insights into the development of today's sea turtles.
How did the ancestors of the sea turtles adapt to life in the water?
Our museum educators use various tactile objects to show which special characteristics the animals have developed for life in the sea. The dry specimen of a hawksbill turtle, a turtle shell and tortoiseshell can be handled on site.
