On Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the orchards in Klein Plasten will once again be open for self-picking for the 10th time. In addition, there will be a wide range of products all around according to the motto "seasonal - regional - handmade".
One of the highlights this year is a variety show with up to 60 old but also younger apple varieties and the opportunity to purchase young trees of old apple varieties from regional propagation; tips on fruit tree care are included free of charge. The range of products on sale will also be supplemented by organic beef salami and pumpkins from Biohof Peitz and potatoes and more from the Kagel farm. Freshly pressed apple juice will once again be available for purchase from the Reschke cidery in Neu Falkenhagen. If you fancy a sip, you can join the junior rangers who will be demonstrating how delicious freshly squeezed apple juice tastes using a juice press. The "Natur im Garten MV" information stand provides interesting facts about natural, ecological gardening. This gardening advice offer is complemented by a seed exchange, for which you are welcome to bring your own seeds to swap. Interesting facts about honey bees as pollinators and their honey will be available from the Waren (Müritz) Beekeepers' Association and visitors can try out their own skills in processing sheep's wool for the first time on a spinning wheel.
Before and after the activities, you can recharge your batteries by the warming fire with delicious food from the barbecue and the fire pot, freshly smoked trout from the Rethwisch/Möllenhagen fishing club and home-baked cakes from the Waren-Müritz LAND-WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION.

Admission is free - the proceeds from the sale of apples will go to the LPV for the association's work.
