On October 11, 2025, our heart at Cape Arkona will beat faster! A day that will go down in our history forever, because we are celebrating two important events at once: The creation of the "Cape of Four Towers" with the inauguration of the new "Little Lighthouse" and the 90th anniversary of the Putgarten fire department!
A milestone for our cape and our heroes!
Just imagine: The faithful replica of the rare Pintsch lighthouse is ceremoniously inaugurated and completes the famous tower family to form a globally unique ensemble. No other place in the world can boast such a constellation! This new, almost seven-metre-high lighthouse is more than just a landmark; it is a symbol of orientation, consistency and the unshakeable loyalty of our community - values that are inextricably linked to our fire department.

The absolute highlight of this historic day is the festive installation of the weather vane on the tower by the builders with the help of our Putgarten fire department! Together with their 90th anniversary, we not only celebrate a new lighthouse, but also honor the tireless dedication, courage and sacrifice of our firefighters, who have been there for our safety day and night for nine decades.
