How can Neubrandenburg be designed in such a way that it remains liveable for all generations - even in old age? This is the question addressed by the 3rd Senior Citizens' Conference. Everyone who would like to find out more, exchange ideas and contribute ideas for the future of the four-gate city is invited. Admission is free, registration is not required.
Information, discussion, participation
The conference will be opened by Lord Mayor Nico Klose. The focus will be on practical topics that concern many citizens - from communal living and healthy eating in old age to volunteering and digital participation. Experts from the city administration, networks and organizations will provide insights, answer questions and show ways in which active ageing can succeed in Neubrandenburg.
Market of opportunities
A special part of the event is the Market of Opportunities. Numerous institutions and initiatives present themselves here. Visitors can talk directly at the stands and fill out questionnaires, the results of which will be incorporated into future urban development.
An offer for all generations
Even if the focus is on senior citizens, the topics concern all age groups. Coffee, music and short breaks invite people to talk to each other and develop ideas for a generation-friendly city.
