In 2025, we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss, the unforgotten king of the waltz, with a glittering anniversary gala. The members of the Prague Gala Symphony Orchestra, internationally renowned soloists and the Johann Strauss Ballet invite you to an afternoon full of music in three-four time to pay tribute to the musical legacy of the fathers of the golden and silver era of operetta. Strauss enchanted the world with his operettas such as "Die Fledermaus" and "Eine Nacht in Venedig" as well as over 497 other compositions. The ensemble from the golden city of Prague unleashes a veritable waltz frenzy and brings the era of the kings and emperors of the 19th century back to life. Comedic interludes, enchanting dance choreographies and world-famous pieces such as the "Emperor Waltz" or the "Radetzky March" promise a feast of melodies that will live long in the memory.
The artistic ensemble has been touring Europe since 2002 and has already delighted over 1 million guests. This makes it one of the most successful operetta ensembles of our time!
