As part of the annual nationwide "Fair Week", the State capital Schwerin, the action group Eine Welt e.V. Schwerin and the Evangelical Lutheran parish of St. Nikolai invite you to a "FAIR tasting" on Saturday, September 13.
On the lawn in front of the Schelfkirche (Puschkinstraße/corner of Lindenstraße) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., numerous delicious Fairtrade products from the Weltladen will be available to try - for example fair trade snacks, spreads, tasty Fairtrade orange juice, fair trade coffee and sweets.
But there is also something to celebrate on this day: the city has once again been re-certified as a "Fairtrade City" and can now carry the title for another two years. Schwerin is now one of more than 900 Fairtrade municipalities in Germany and has held the title for 12 years.
The FAIR tasting will be framed by atmospheric live music. In addition to the Weltladen, the BUNDjugend MV and the Förderkreis Norddeutschland of Oikocredit will be represented with campaign stands.
The "FAIRkostung" can be perfectly combined with a visit to the yard sale festival in the Schelf- and Werdervorstadt.
