From August 19 to 23, the open-air summer film festival "Kino unterm Himmel" once again invites you to enjoy a shared movie experience.
For the 10th time, the garden of the Kulturforum Schleswig-Holstein-Haus will be transformed into a summer movie theater under the open sky: from August 19 to 23, the open-air summer film festival "Kino unterm Himmel" will once again invite you to enjoy a shared film experience.
The anniversary edition starts with a special musical prelude: The band "Kutterscholle mit Speckstippe", consisting of Schwerin actors Raphael Käding and Robert Höller, will set the mood on the opening evening.
Every evening from 8.30 p.m., films flicker across the garden on a large screen - the audience had the opportunity to vote on the program in advance.
Before each main film, an award-winning short film from the current competition of the FiSH Film Festival Rostock will be shown - a cinematic cooperation that further enriches the program.
The garden of the Kulturforum will be open from 7.00 pm. Stephanie Baak from Rauchhaus Möllin will be treating guests to regional specialties and refreshing drinks.
Admission costs €11 plus advance booking fee. Tickets are only available onlinefrom August 1at kino-unterm-himmel.de.
The summer film festival "Kino unterm Himmel" is a cooperation between the Kulturforum der State capital Schwerin and the Kino unterm Dach e.V. association. Its partner is the FiSH Film Festival Rostock. The festival is supported by Landesmarketing Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Stadtmarketing Gesellschaft Schwerin mbH.
