Erik sings with critical poetry about the world that surrounds him. The Nuremberg singer-songwriter wraps his lyrics in a rough folk guise. His powerful voice carries through poppy melodies and driving rhythms. Since becoming aware of the climate crisis, Erik has been processing his fears and worries in his own lyrics. "The future is written by us" has been his motto ever since.
His second studio album "Aufgaben und Taten" (Tasks and Deeds) was born out of a desire to get to the bottom of the acute world silence. Fittingly, this was released on Konstantin Wecker's label "Sturm und Klang".
The "Freischwimmer" changes more than expected through his courage to explore the horizon. "The true price" makes it clear how high our debts are even as newborns. And the "Machine Man" and the "Lighthouse Project" tell us that a successful life has nothing to do with money or performance.
The ten songs, which were published at the end of 2024, immerse you in the thoughts and feelings of a climate-minded thirty-something who wants to take responsibility.
