On this round trip across 8 lakes, you paddle around the entire length of Lake Rätzsee. Some of the lakes are closed to motorboats. The tour starts at the Fleether Mühle, where you will find snack and supply facilities as well as a boat rental. The "Fleether Mühle" was built as a former 4-storey grain mill with an estate ensemble in the classicist style, but was almost completely destroyed by arson. Today, an old mill wheel still bears witness to the former trade. The route continues through the Oberbek towards the small village of Fleeth, where it runs along the Müritz-Havel waterway. On the left is the Diemitz lock, which has to be passed. The lock process is still controlled by a lock keeper, as this is the most frequently used lock in the region. At the Diemitz lock, there is a recommended restaurant at the Biber-Ferienhof with regional dishes. The following Kleine Peetschsee is quickly crossed before you reach the Labussee. The small vacation resort of Canow is located on the Labussee with many restaurants and a fishing farm worth a visit. The route continues through the wilderness of the Dollbek into the Gobenowsee. A campsite here invites you to linger, swim and enjoy a snack. The route continues north through the Drosedower Bek, which is also very picturesque. A particularly beautiful photo motif here is the wooden bridge, which allows hikers and cyclists to cross the Bek. Finally, you reach Lake Rätzsee, which gives the tour its name. The clear water of the elongated lake is particularly inviting for a swim, as there is a complete lack of motorboats and agriculture close to the shore. A few thatched houses lead south out of the Rätzsee towards the starting point of the tour.
