For the first time, visitors can see an extraordinary exhibition of Professor Sadat's miniature paintings in Germany.
The exhibition will be opened by Mayor Stefan Pinnow on Tuesday, August 19 at 5 p.m., followed by an opportunity to talk to Prof. Sadat. He has been living in Ludwigslust for a year now. He worked in Afghanistan in the field of miniature painting at the university and has brought back various originals of this special type of painting from Afghanistan.
In Kabul, he worked at the university's Faculty of Fine Arts. He taught miniatures, book illumination, calligraphy, hand printing and graphics and was very interested in miniatures and book illumination. He took part in numerous art exhibitions and was awarded many prizes. Prof. Sadat worked on around fifty miniature works of art, 33 of which are on display in the town hall.
