Chestnut farm

I have been offering clay building courses since 1998. Formerly in Brandenburg - in Biesenthal, now in Meck-Pom - near Anklam.

In the 3 days of the course you can get to know different clays, mixtures and aggregates. Types of wall construction (walls, piling with straw clay, rammed earth, straw bale construction) can be presented, purchased/self-made plasters can be applied. We will introduce some things (types of stoves, ...) and you can try them out, including clay samples, rubbing, smoothing and design techniques. We can work in several colors and create ornaments.
